The Country Garden Retreat, located in the Historic Town of Hinckley Minnesota, welcomes groups of up to 20.

As the only house on Lady Luck Drive, this is the perfect getaway for:

• any other retreats (church, professional organizations)
• Yoga and wellness retreats

…or a gathering of friends who just want to get together and enjoy what this area has to offer.

Country Garden is situated next to the 18th tee of Hinckley’s Grand National Golf Course and just a short walk to many of our areas best attractions such as Tobie’s, Cassidy’s, Grand Casino, Grand Cinema Movie Theater, The Antique Mall, and many fine eateries.

Guests who like to explore can enjoy Hinckley’s Historic Downtown area that features the Great Hinckley Fire Museum, and the Monument. Crafter's will love finding hand made yarn at the “Mother of All Crafts”, found in one of the most charming log houses you will ever see. Quilter can stop in at the "Quilted Lighthouse" , and look for new patterns, fabrics and ideas. Bargain hunters can search our local consignment shops and thrift store.

For those who love canoeing, tubing, or taking a long walk can access to

St. Croix State Park just down the road.

Minnesota Scrapbooking, Stamping  and Quilting Retreats

The Country Garden Retreat offers comfortable lodging with bedding and towels supplied. A 1000+ sqare foot cropping/craft room with ergonomic features and supplies can accommodate 20 scrap bookers, quilters or stampers. We have for your use Cricut die cut machine with 7 different cartridges, 2 sizzex machines with dies, cutting pads, edging scissors, paper cutters, scanner and copier, 2 computers with font programs and high speed internet access. An onsite store will be open soon. Quilters we have the Rowenta Steam Generator iron available for your use and cutting table.

Our crafts room has a 5 x 3 table and an ergonomic chair for each person, for ample work space and comfort! There is a separate refrigerator for your beverages, large TV with a VCR/DVD player to watch a great show or presentation.

Bring your own group for a weekend of crafts or scrapbooking,or you can also enroll in one of our scheduled Scrapbooking Weekends. Many of our groups have openings, you can see what is available on our forum page.

You can “crop ‘til you drop” in your pajamas in the middle of the night, have a fireside chat with a friend in the wee hours of the morning or just sneak into the kitchen and raid the refrigerator… we have thought of everything to make  you feel at home at The Country Garden Retreat home!
